The National Brussels Griffon Club

Established in 1971 by a small group of very dedicated fanciers devoted to protecting the integrity of the breed.

Over the years, the NBGC membership continues to carry on that tradition, encouraging responsible and ethical breeding for the purpose of improving breed type while maintaining soundness and health.

As we welcome Brussels Griffon fanciers with a wide variety of interests, including AKC confirmation, obedience, agility, tracking, rescue, therapy, service and companion, the primary goals of the NBGC remain the same.

In addition, NBGC invites all new owners of a Brussels Griffon to join as a way to learn more about the breed and meet other Brussels Griffon owners.

The National Brussels Griffon Club publishes the BRUSSELS SPROUTS, a quarterly breed magazine with articles of interest to all, including Griffon news, show statistics, photographs, ads and a directory of breeders comprised of members who subscribe to the NBGC Code of Ethics. This publication is mailed directly to the members.

Friends of the NBGC look forward to supporting the entry at dog shows, producing educational materials for Griffon owners, organizing fund raisers and much more.
